|
Nariman is an Industrial and Product Designer located in Cairo. She has over 10 years of design experience in different product fields including furniture, home appliances, ergonomic school bags, mobility devices, and interior design. She applies innovation strategies and solutions to her design and consulting approaches through freelancing with different sizes of companies. Her products
have been exhibited in several local and international exhibitions with a product that has recently received certification. She has a MSc. Degree in Product Design from the German University in Cairo (GUC) and is currently working as a Product Design instructor and PhD Researcher, with a focus on Design Education for the Egyptian Product industry.
She has several publications in prominent journals including the Design Management Institute Journal and the International Journal of Design and Nature & Ecodynamics. Her research areas focus on multidisciplinary fields including sustainable development, Biomimicry, Design Education, and Design Management. In 2013, she received the Grand Prize award in the Biomimicry Student Design Challenge and has since given a TEDx talk about Biomimicry. Read more

The 2023 JPIM Annual Research Forum, powered by the Product Development and Management Association (PDMA), seeks various types of conference submissions from scholars from all disciplines who share a common interest in new product development and innovation management research. The JPIM Research Forum is part of the PDMA conference and will offer networking opportunities with scholars, practitioners, the JPIM’s Editorial Team and the PDMA community. There will be joint sessions for researchers and practitioners for stimulating
high-impact research driven by collaborations between industry and academia.
Full Competitive Papers, Developmental Papers and Special Session Proposals are all welcome. Submissions from all academic areas, methodological approaches, and regions of the world are welcome.
