New kHUB Content:
- Read this article on how to improve product management effectiveness using game mechanics A pair of the speakers at PDMA’s Inspire Innovation Conference held September 16-19 in
New Orleans - Mike Hyzy and Bret Wardle – have shared an in depth discussion on using gamification to better engage your customer. They explore the psychological triggers and game mechanics that games use to "hook" players, and how to ethically apply these strategies to make your product more engaging and habit-forming.
“Games have a magical way of drawing us in, captivating our attention, and compelling us to spend countless hours immersed in their worlds. Now, smart product developers are catching on to game design secrets, borrowing proven engagement techniques to make their products 'irresistible'. ”
- Download this Book: Compilation of the Experiences in Turkiye from a Product Management Perspective. It was published under the leadership of the Technology Development Foundation of Turkey (TTGV). Valuable product management professionals share their experiences in the book. Whether product managers have started their careers in engineering or social sciences, they must strengthen their communication skills and gain industry experience. Considering that the markets where the products are offered have different social and cultural dynamics, the acquisition of
sectoral experience and the use of this experience throughout the product life cycle play an important role in the success of the product.
“The Jobs-to-Be-Done framework is centered around the idea that customers "hire" products or services to get a job done. In B2B markets, this concept becomes even more complex due to the involvement of multiple stakeholders, lengthy decision-making processes, and the interplay between functional and emotional considerations.” He then expands on previous JTBD articles
and posts and shares how applying this tool can unlock value and drive innovation – especially in B2B Markets
